Data loss, repair outcomes, and limitation of liability.
You are solely responsible for backing up your important data before any service. While we take all reasonable precautions, IT Cares cannot be held responsible for the loss, corruption, or inaccessibility of data, whether pre-existing or occurring during or after a service (repair, remote support, hardware handling, updates, data recovery, or otherwise).
By authorizing remote access (AnyDesk or equivalent), you acknowledge the service is performed at your request and on your device. IT Cares is not responsible for software incompatibilities, expired licenses, third-party configurations, or the consequences of malware already present on the device.
Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, IT Cares disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
This disclaimer does not exclude or limit the rights granted to you by Quebec's Consumer Protection Act or applicable Canadian federal law. No clause applies to the extent it would conflict with those laws. Where there is a conflict, those laws prevail.
