Can you restore my iPhone if it was lost or stolen?
If you have a valid backup, yes — we restore to a replacement phone. Without backup, partial recovery may be possible with specialist tools.
Will a backup save my WhatsApp messages?
iCloud backup includes WhatsApp IF WhatsApp iCloud backup is enabled inside the app. We check and enable it.
What happens to my data during an iOS update?
Properly done iOS update doesn't delete data. But if something goes wrong, data can be lost. We always back up first, then update.
I forgot my encrypted iTunes backup password. What can I do?
Apple doesn't provide a master reset. On iOS 11+ you can reset the backup encryption password from within Settings on the iPhone itself.
Can I back up to an external hard drive?
Yes. Computer backup via iTunes or Finder can save to an external drive instead of the main hard drive.
How long does a full backup take?
First-time local backup of a 64GB iPhone: 15–30 minutes via USB. iCloud depends on internet speed.
Do I need iTunes installed?
On Windows yes — or the Apple Devices app on Windows 11. On Mac it's built into Finder since macOS Catalina.
