Do I need iCloud to transfer photos?
No. We use a USB cable or the built-in Apple transfer tool — no iCloud required.
Does it work on both PC and Mac?
Yes. Windows 10, Windows 11, and all recent macOS versions including Sonoma and Sequoia.
What are HEIC files and will they open on my computer?
HEIC is Apple's photo format. Windows can't open them by default, but we install the free Microsoft HEIC codec so they open like regular JPEGs.
Cable or wireless — which is better?
Cable is faster and more reliable for large libraries. Wireless works better for ongoing automatic backup. We recommend the right method for your situation.
I have 10,000 photos. Will this take forever?
Transferring 10,000 photos via USB typically takes 20–40 minutes depending on file sizes. We stay on the line.
Will my photos be deleted from my iPhone after transfer?
No — photos stay on your iPhone unless you specifically ask us to delete them to free up space.
Can you also back up to an external hard drive?
Yes. If you have a USB external drive, we can copy photos there too.
Can you organize photos by date or by person?
We can sort into yearly or monthly folders. Organizing by person requires face-recognition software — we recommend the best free options.
My iPhone asks 'Trust This Computer' and then nothing happens. What do I do?
Tap 'Trust' and enter passcode. If still doesn't work, the Apple Mobile Device driver needs reinstalling — we handle that remotely in 10 minutes.
Can you transfer videos too?
Yes. Videos transfer the same way and we make sure they are playable on your computer.
What if my computer doesn't have iTunes installed?
We install iTunes (or the Apple Devices app on Windows 11) for free during the session if needed.
